Phoebe used her initial qualifications and career in retail to build a specialism in learning and development, which has now seen her move into the media sector.

After graduating, Phoebe continued working for the John Lewis Partnership, an organisation she鈥檇 joined whilst at school and worked for throughout university.

She progressed to store management, leading up to 100 partners, and went on to oversee the programme management and training for all new Waitrose and John Lewis store openings before focusing on customer experience within John Lewis. In this role, she was charged with implementing new strategies to improve partner performance through focused learning interventions.

Phoebe took this experience into her next role at Travelodge where she led the strategic approach to project training for up to 20 new hotel openings per year, using insights to drive performance. She now works for BBC Studios where she is responsible for programme management across the Learning and Development team.

Phoebe says: 鈥淢y degree has tremendously supported my knowledge and developed my skill set, preparing me for my roles since graduating. The Managing People module provided me with the emotional intelligence to successfully manage teams, whilst the Finance and Accounting module equipped me with the skills to successfully manage a project within budget.鈥
