Please note: The BU Fees Team is currently heavily involved with the enrolment of new students. This is likely to be the case up to the third week in October and during this time they are not able to progress your refund request. They will give it their earliest attention as staff become free as enrolment is completed. We ask for your understanding during this period. Please do not send chasing emails as this deflects staff from making progress with their work.

Find out if you may be eligible for a refund and how much (if any) by checking our terms and conditions on our聽Fees Policies via the Important information page聽and selecting聽the relevant fees policy under the Finance section.

Please note, that there are different liability points throughout the academic year which will impact how much of your fees can be refunded (if any). Check the tuition fee liability table聽for further information.

Complete and submit the online application form

Eligible refunds can only be processed after completing all sections of the online tuition fee refund form. Please allow 30 minutes to complete the online form, and ensure that you have any written evidence and/or proof of payment to hand before starting.

Please note, refunds can only be made to the account which the original payment was made from.
