The Calendar Centre allows you to access BU information available (e.g. your online timetable, room bookings) and view it with your personal calendar on your own phone, tablet or PC. Calendar Centre allows you to choose how you see your timetable information on your own device.

An iCal feed is a standardised format used to exchange calendar data. It is supported by most software including Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple.Ìý

You don't need to find your seminar or option group information any more - this has been automatically set up for you! This is following feedback from students, so we've simplified this process. This also means that your timetable is linked to your student record, so the units you see should be automatically correct. If you want to request a change to programme or units, you need to contact your programme leader or support team in the first instance, to discuss your options. If you do change any units that you are studying this will change when your student record is updated.Ìý

We have also made it possible for you to combine your teaching information and some other BU calendar data and your personal calendar - helping you to manage your work/life balance.

Not any longer! Following feedback that this is time consuming and can be confusing, we have automated this step. Once your timetables have been released, just go online to view your timetable

You need to see your Programme Support Team to check whether a seminar group change is possible. If a change is agreed, the Faculty needs to change your timetable remotely for you to see the changes. This might take a day or two, especially in the first week of term.

If you chose your options using OMR earlier this year, you should see your units.ÌýIf you have not yet made your option choice online (for example during Welcome Week), you will not see the timetabled teaching for these units until you do.

Log in to the Online Timetable and click on Configure (top right hand side.ÌýChoose your Theme (either default or high contrast). Click on Save. Click on Back to Calendar to return to your view.

Your timetable will be available before the start of term. When the faculty dates are confirmed, we'll post them as an announcement on Brightspace and our social media channels.
You don't need to check for your seminar groups in Brightspace any more - your timetable will have already been set up with your units for you. Just click on the Timetables link in (See Useful Links) or use the Log-in services page. If your timetable has not been released yet, you will see a holding page.

Rooms, units, programmes, colleagues, student timetables can all be viewed using the filter. Choose the type of timetable that you wish to see and then choose from the drop down list. Click on X to cancel the filter and return to your own timetable.
